Mininova goes legal. Sad, but it’s true.
By the way, Isohunt is still alive. pwnlast.fm is using it. Check out pwnlast.fm/music/Nirvana and UserJS.
From now on pwnlast.fm is using mininova.org for redirection.
Check out http://pwnlast.fm/music/Nirvana.
Now it works even faster becouse mininova has own JSON API. Thanks to Erik, mininova coder.
Download pwnlastfm-mininova.user.js
coda.fm/artists/14 - guess what artist? It’s Nirvana! For comparison: last.fm/artists/Nirvana
pwnlast.fm is using thepiratebay for redirection. For example pwnlast.fm/artist/Nirvana → thepiratebay.org/music/artist/Nirvana. Coda.fm would be great replacement for it. But URLs, ouh.
Sadly, Mininova doesn’t allow direct links to torrent files. Click on ▼ and you will be redirected to mininova site instead of downloading torrent.
Last version of pwnlastfm-mininova.user.js already fix it. Enjoy.
pwnlastfm.user.js with Isohunt search will no updating any more. But it still avalible.

Comparison of Mininova and Isohunt search. Looks like Mininova win!
I experimenting with mininova.org search last few days. The result looks pretty impressive.

Check out pwnlastfm-mininova.user.js. It works great in last versions of Firefox, Opera and Safari.
Mininova doesn’t have JSON API, but has RSS feed instead. For example, there is a RSS feed for Nirvana. RSS can be transformed to JSONP (JSON with callback) with YQL. If you’re excited about an abbreviations in last three clauses, check out sourse code from github.
I have the answer. Isohunt has JSON API. With API, this kind of functionality was really simple to implement. That’s it.
I’ve starting from The Pirate Bay search. pwnlastfm.user.js with TPB search still avalible. Sometimes TPB search was not impressed me and I’ve switched to Isohunt.
Maybe Isohunt is not better choice. I don’t know. I’m just trying things out.
Fell free to ask for new cool features in the comments.
Wow, I’m a popular!
Bad thing about Isohunt API: you can’t specify search category.
You ask, I answer.
